Kellie martin is an American film, television and stage actress. Her most notable parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) as well as Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Her other roles of note include the title role of her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher, Martin began her acting career in the age of seven years old when her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's children, helped her land a guest spot in the 1982 show "Father Murphy". In the years following her Yale University graduation, she began to concentrate on acting. She was able to land substantial roles in both television and cinema. Martin, in addition to being a skilled actor and dancer, she is also a skilled ballet photographer. Martin is also a mother of two children and is the spokesperson of Lupus.
